Our Complete Poultry Feed Range
Our poultry range caters for the changing nutrient requirements of the bird at each stage of growth. Southern Milling provides both meal and pelleted feeds to suit all production systems, with custom formulations available to meet the needs of your individual flocks. Using only high-quality raw materials and strict UFAS-approved manufacturing standards, we ensure full traceability and consistency in every batch. Thanks to our very own fleet of delivery lorries and responsive production schedules, you get the feed you need, when you need it.
Broiler Feed
Southern Milling’s broiler feeds are formulated to deliver the high energy levels required. Using premium cereals such as barley, maize and wheat, alongside carefully balanced oils and fats, each diet provides a consistent and highly digestible energy supply. Southern Milling’s expertise ensures every feed delivers the optimal nutritional profile for modern broiler production.
Feed for Layers Egg Production
We provide feed options for both Housed Layers and Free Range Layers, taking into account the different needs of the two groups.
Feed For Housed Layers – For Housed Layers, our poultry feed is designed to support the large scale, intensive egg production system. Poultry raised as Housed Layers require specialised feed in order to sustain efficient production.
Feed For Free Range Layers – In Ireland, free range productions are a niche market with flocks ranging from 200 to 2,000 hens. As with Housed Layers, Free Range Layers have specialised nutritional needs and mineral requirements.
Feed For Turkey Production
Ireland’s turkey production is mostly a seasonal market. With this in mind, Southern Milling developed a ‘4 stage diet’ which is a feeding programme covering growth from Starter to Withdrawal.
