About Us
About Southern Milling
Headquartered in Cork’s Marina Mills, Southern Milling has a proud milling history dating back to the 1970s. With sister companies in Limerick and Longford (trading as Paul & Vincent) as well as Kellihers Feed and Agri in Tralee, Co. Kerry and Pattons Feeds in Monaghan, our top priority is to provide our customers with the highest quality product for their particular farm.
Over the years, driven by a dedicated and hard-working team of colleagues, a loyal customer base and a trusted supplier network, Southern Milling has grown to become Ireland’s largest privately owned milling company.

Nutrition & Expertise
Southern Milling animal feeds are formulated in-house by our nutritional team with ongoing consultation and support from our technical sales advisors and supply partners. Our range is developed with the needs of our farmer and merchant customers in mind.
We work together to ensure that formulas are balanced to industry leading specifications. Two key benchmarks are used to evaluate each formula: Quality and Performance

Investment in Innovation
At Southern Milling, we are continually investing in our production facilities and people. We work hard every day to maintain our reputation for industry leading quality and service. As a result, Southern Milling now has one of the most modern feed milling facilities in the country.
To ensure prompt and efficient delivery from our mill to our customers year-round, we are always updating and adding to our own fleet of Southern Milling delivery trucks and rely on the work ethic, dedication and skills of our team of drivers.
Quality and Assurance
Southern Milling and Paul & Vincent are certified members of UFAS (Universal Feed Assurance Scheme) and the Bord Bia Feed Quality Assurance Scheme.
Southern Milling animal feeds are manufactured to the strictest quality control standards as set out by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine and UFAS.
We follow the HACCP (Hazard Analysis of Critical Control Points) procedure plan which closely examines each stage of our feed production system to ensure optimum feed quality and traceability. All raw materials are also sourced in accordance with the approved HACCP plan.
Training is provided regularly to colleagues working in our production sites and regular communication and feedback from customers and technical sales reps ensures we are proactive when it comes to quality control. Regular and routine sampling and testing of both raw materials and end products is also prioritised.

Our Suppliers
Southern Milling has long-standing relationships with its suppliers. We are dedicated to selecting the highest-quality raw materials to ensure a top quality and consistent end product for customers.
We are proud to have long-established working relationships with many household names in the Irish tillage sector.
We also work with trusted international suppliers to source certain ingredients and rely on the expertise of irish based traders to source these on our behalf.

We recognise the importance of continuous improvement to ensure we are always providing up to date and industry leading advice to our customers so they can meet and exceed performance targets on farm.
